Educate visual communicators on the condition known as Synaesthesia. Raise awareness of the condition and relay the experiences of a Synaesthete.
Audience:
Primarily visual communicators with the opportunity to be read and understood by the general public.
This project is based on the topic Synaesthesia. Synaesthesia is simply the joining of the senses however I have focused on Grapheme Colour Synaesthesia which focuses on the joint, involuntary experience of colour and letters/numbers.
The design of the book is aimed at engaging the reader on more than one level. Enabling them to gain an understanding of the condition as well as experiencing Synaesthesia to some extent.
